After the performance, we will head downstairs for a New Year’s Eve party in our Clark Cabaret & Bar – complete with a DJ, light bites, surprise performances, and a champagne toast at midnight. Hey, San Diego, are you ready for some champagne problems? Faster than you can say “Ticketmaster site crash,” Varla Jean has swiftly tailored The Errors Tour for her fans, The Mermies. Everyone’s favorite ditzy diva takes you through her catalog of hilarious hits and egregious errors in a show jam-packed with classic bits, giant wigs, over-taxed costumes, and new songs. This tour-de-farce is certain to be an unforgivable, er…unforgettable evening of “Varla’s Version” of entertainment.
“…a deliciously loony sensibility…a voice that suggests a happy collision of Shirley Bassey and Barbara Cook…imagine it in a lounge act of a much younger Ann-Margret as conceived by John Waters and you’ll have an idea of the irresistible insanity in store for you.” – Bay Windows
