BREAKDOWN:
Jeff - Late 20's - 30's. Song writer, bird lover, Wonder Woman fanatic, gay, and a realist. Bari-tenor. Takes his shirt off.
Hunter - Late 20's - 30's. Book writer, dreams of his show winning a Tony Award, watcher of porn, gay. Bari-tenor. Takes his shirt off.
Jeff and Hunter are two ordinary guys and best friends, living in NYC, who team up to write an original musical for the New York Musical Theatre festival. All four characters totes have a very natural and contemporary way of speaking. Each must be able to hold their own vocally, and have a certain sense of star power. They have all been around the block and have some life experience under their belts, but discover there is still some hope out there and their lives aren't over - yet - as long as they can kill their vampires.
If called in to audition, please prepare a one minute contemporary song with sass, preferably with a Broadway flair (though, it does not have to be from a Broadway show - surprise us!), and a one minute comedic monologue. All four actors must be able to move well, or at least fake it.
